Who operates this site

Lerna is operated as an internal pilot project for a limited group of invited participants. The operating entity is identified on our legal notice; during the pilot phase its name is available on request.

What we collect

• Your access code. Redeeming an invitation code creates your learner record; the code itself is stored so your access persists.
• The display name you enter when redeeming your code.
• Course progress. Which lessons you have completed and when.
• A session cookie (lerna_session) that keeps you signed in. It contains a signed identifier — no tracking, no third parties.
• IP address, transiently, when someone attempts administrative sign-ins, used only to rate-limit abuse. It is kept in memory briefly and not written to the database.

We use no analytics services, no advertising trackers, and no third-party marketing cookies.

Why we process it

Solely to operate the pilot: keep you signed in, remember your progress, show aggregate completion statistics to pilot administrators, and protect the service from abuse. We do not sell or share your data, and there is no marketing use of any kind.

Cookies

We set one cookie: lerna_session, strictly necessary for staying signed in. Because it is essential to the service you requested, no consent banner is required or shown. You can clear it at any time by signing out or via your browser settings.

Hosting

The pilot runs on a third-party cloud hosting provider that processes data on our behalf under contract. Course content and learner records are stored in a database on that host.

Retention

Learner records are kept for the duration of the pilot. When the pilot ends, or earlier at your request, we delete your record including progress history.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected, or have it deleted entirely. Write to us and we will respond within a reasonable time frame.
